Hi, I'm Kitty.
I'm a 24-year-old route setter living up in North Yorkshire. I've been setting for the last four years: I started out in-house at The Climbing Hangar Sheffield, and I've recently changed it up to go freelance full time.
I'm looking forward to setting the British Bouldering Championships as an aspirant National Setter, and I'm always keen to set events.
I'm a climber for life, and movement is my top priority. I was on the national team and competed as a junior and senior on the world stage. These days I get more out of being on the other side of the event: nothing beats watching a climb unfold in finals with your team.
Recent competitions
I still do the occasional comp. It gives me a better idea of the athletes nationwide and the standard across the national field, and it's a good excuse to dust off the competitive side and get stuck into the energy of comps!
